* * * Grandpa's Birthday & Big News * * *

Everyone was here on Sunday, the 22nd, to have ice cream cake for Grandpa Bill's birthday.  It was crazy, as always, but fun!  It was fun that Carey and Dustin got to be here, too!  Dustin came to go to some training to be a crossfit trainer, and the place was right by Layton High, so that was handy!  Carey decided to ride down with him, so he didn't have to drive alone...and she'd get to see little Kiley (and everyone else, too)!  It was fun to have the kids at the kitchen table, playing card games and enjoying being together.  We don't get to have them here for events very often, so really enjoy it when we do!  Also...Christopher and Felisha stunned everyone by making the announcement that Felisha is pregnant and due September 15th!!  They'd told us earlier in the week, but swore us to secrecy.  It was SO hard to not say anything!  We are SO excited!  Mindy and Scotty's baby girl is due in March...and now #9 in September!  The more the merrier!!  :D  Grandkids are just the BEST!!  We got the grandkids together for a picture.  It shows how tiny Kiley is!  We just love them all to pieces!! 

Precious little Kiley Lyn Davies joined our family on Friday, January 13th, at 1:23pm at the Ogden Regional Medical Center.  She's the second daughter of Laurie and Bryce.  She weighed 5 lbs 11 oz, and was 18 inches long, with lots of black hair and long eyelashes.  Such a tiny, precious bundle of JOY!!  We love her so much already, and are so happy to have her in our family!!  Her big sister, Sierra, will just LOVE her!! 

I'm BAAACCCCKKKK!!! After becoming frustrated with problems with my last blog, and deleting it, and only providing photos to family and friends via Facebook or email, I have decided to again attempt a blog!  I like the idea of printing the blog each year in a book, as a memento to my posterity!  This is a picture of our current family group...but next Friday (the 13th), we will welcome into our family Laurie and Bryce's new baby girl, Kylie Lynn!!  It will truly make it a LUCKY day!!  Hopefully I can figure out how to keep this going, and will learn to be more creative with it....but for now...this is just an announcement that I am returning to blogging!
